Suspension affects any Jefferson Recreation activity, both home and away.
- For all GRPA competitions, positive cheering by players, coaches and spectators is encouraged. Any negative cheering/hollering may result in a warning and/or removal from the site, whether it is for or against your team. No artificial noisemakers shall be allowed in the dugouts, bleachers, seats, and standing areas around the perimeter of the playing field or court in all youth sports.
- If a coach, player or a spectator runs onto a field or court during a contest or incites his/her fans/parents to become disorderly during a contest, or makes any action that is not within the sportsmanship of the game will be subject to a 1 game Suspension (not including current game) and 1 year probation.
- Suspension from attendance carries over to include all-stars or subsequent sports if the infraction occurs at the end of a season.
Violators of the above policy will be handled in accordance with penalties set forth. However, Jefferson Recreation reserves the right to impose penalties greater than those outlined if a situation dictates, based on severity. We further reserve the right to suspend coaching, player and spectator privileges where appropriate.
All disciplinary actions which are to be appealed need to be made in writing within 24 hours of the ruling and notice made to the violator.
Any violator has the right to an appeal. All appeals and suspensions will be reviewed by the Jefferson Recreation Advisory Board and Recreation Director, to determine if any further action should be taken.
