What age your child is on the first  day of camp, May 20th is the group your child will be in

The Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department Summer Day Camp Program is a perfect solution for parents looking for an affordable, fun, well-supervised, growing experience for their child.  We strive to provide a unique, quality adventure in a safe environment. Participants are grouped according to age level to ensure a low counselor-to-participant ratio.  Activities include arts and crafts, physical activities and games, character development, swimming,  and Pin Trade Fridays!

SummerCamp Registration, Payment, and Hours:

4-10 yr olds or K-5th Grade.
*To be eligible for Summer Camp, all participants must have completed a state-funded Pre-K program(Documentation for 4 year olds who completed a Pre-K program is required through either email from teacher of school transcript). To register, each child must have a registration packet filled out by a parent or guardian.

 

**We are ONLY accepting full-time SummerCamp participants. With limited space due to the high demand for SummerCamp, we are unable to accept registrations for daily or week-to-week needs. You will be required to register for all 11 weeks of camp M-F. 

---YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE A LUNCH EVERYDAY. WE PROVIDE AN AFTERNOON SNACK. --

  • Hours: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm daily (Early Drop off begins at 7:00 am and is an additional $10 per child/week.)
  • Registration fee: City $30.00 / County $50.00
  • SummerCamp fee (City Residents): $155.00 per child per week/$5.00 discount for every child after the 1st. 
  • SummerCamp fee (Non-City Residents): $170.00 per child per week/$5.00 discount for every child after the 1st. 
  • Security Deposit:  Registration Fee + First 2 Weeks of Camp + Any Additional Field Trip Costs
  • All registered participants are required to have their accounts paid through Auto-Draft from a credit card or debit card. Auto-Draft occurs the Monday prior to the week being charged. 

Again, weekly fees are due a week in advance. Payment is due on Mondays a full week before the week in which you attend. There will be a $15.00 late fee charged if payment is not received a week in advance according to the payment schedule. No refunds, transfers, or credits for weeks not attended. We have limited spots and therefore cannot make exceptions for weeks not attended.

Due to the nature of our exemption from State licensing for School-Aged Children from Georgia Bright From The Start, all children must be potty trained before being allowed to participate in any Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department Childcare programs (AfterSchool, DragonDays, SummerCamp, & Parent's Night Out Events). The Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department is not a Daycare and does not have the proper diapering facilities or laundry to accommodate children who are not potty trained.
